5N4CK3Y DC34 Philanthropy Badge Sale
Model: CRNCH-9
Condition: Extremely real, emotionally unstable
Availability: Limited philanthropy units
Maine Compatibility: Unverified
Status: READ THE [BEEP] MANUAL
We want to give badges to hackers doing cool things.
Sponsors came up big for us this year, but we still need your help to close the gap. Support the project as a philanthropist and we will set aside a badge just for you.
As a philanthropist, you are helping us manufacture additional badges, upgrade and transport 5N4CK3Y for shenanigans at DEF CON, and fund many sleepless nights for us to do what we love doing:
Giving these away for free.
Most of the badges are still going out through hacking challenges, contests, events, and assorted convention nonsense. This sale is for the folks who want to support the project, guarantee themselves a badge, and help make the free badge chaos possible.
There are several things you should understand before shutting up and giving us your money.
Important Operational Disclaimers
There will be BENDER hacking challenges, however they will not be presented on our CTFd hosted server until Friday, August 7th, 2026 at 10:00 AM Vegas Standard Time.
This is because the badges are part of a challenge in the Contests & Events area of DEF CON.
Our GitHub for the DC34 badge will contain activation instructions posted the day the contest starts:
We will ship philanthropist badges by early August.
No pickups in Vegas.
No international shipping this year.
Unfortunate, but we had too many badges bounce back to the US last year.
If you do not like this, that is okay. You can chance it at the con. The majority of badges will be given away for various hacking challenges, contests, events, and shenanigans.

The bit is stupid.
The badges are real.
The support is sincere.
